Blake's school is nothing but a huge germ box :(

Because I still suck at adding pix....these are suppose to be at the bottom of my post. The first one is my Hubsand Bobby and Blake wearing True Blue Tarheel Gear for the big UNC Tarheel vs Duke basketball game last Sauturday night. The second pic is my sweet Blake in his Dr Seuss hat and bowtie ~ with cute little black nose and whiskers too :) love them!!
Now, on to my rant about School Germs.....
Blake never went to daycare, MDO, or PreK. So we were told by his Pedi that when he started school he would get sick frequently due to the new exposure of kid germs. Kids are so stinkin germy. Blake was 4yrs old before he ever had an antibiotic ~ pretty fantastic right?! Well, that was for a sinus infection. He did struggle w/ Tonsilitis though. Alot! He didn't take antibiotics for it as it is believed to be viral.

Bring on Kindergarten, many missed days of school and Blake suffering and we made the decision to take his tonsils out! We did so this past September. Much to our suprise this was not the Cure All. He has been sick more this school year than any other year in his life. What's up w/ 1st grade!?!

This week he is home with bronchitis/pneumonia ~ not sure which one, as they are both treated the same, we didn't feel XRays were important. So again, Blake missed school this week ~ 3 days so far.

I am going to research a Super Vitamen or a Bubbble suit he can wear to school.

Everyone else is doing pretty well.

Shay started a new job, she is sooo excited. She will be working as a counselor to young adults with substance addictions or mental issues. What a great start for her career! My BIL is staying safe in Iraq ~ thank you God ~ and he and Shay are able to talk daily which is awesome. They are planning their honeymoon ~ which will be when he gets to take his 2wks of R&R. St Lucia anyone?!?!
